The TUC’s Organising & Recruitment Team works to support union efforts to meet the organising challenge and organise the next generation of union members and activists.

This blog records the work of the Organising & Recruitment team and provides links to news and information related to union organising.

The team is headed up by Carl Roper the TUC’s National Organiser and includes Liz Blackshaw, Director of the TUC Organising Academy and, Tom Mellish, Organising Policy Officer.

Other contributors will include Paul Nowak, Head of Organisaton at the TUC, Matt Dykes, who is the policy officer with responsibility for organising young workers, Anna Burton, Education Officer from unionlearn and Owen Tudor and Sam Gurney from the TUC’s international department, who will be focussing on the efforts of unions around the globe to organise and represent workers. Colleagues from the TUC’s regional team will also be contributing.
